Armoured Division - (Tanks)

All of our R/C tanks at moment are in the 1/16 scale but stay tuned for updates where we will be modelling in all scale from 1/35 to 1/8 scale, including SDKFZ 9 Famo's, M1A1 Abrams, Kubelwagens, Jagdtiger, King Tiger's and many more.

I was introduced to the hobby of RC Model Tanks by driving a Leopard 1 at one of our local shows and it didn't take me long to realise it was time to get into this sport. I now own a Tiger 1, Abrams, T-34's, a Humvee and am looking at building a 1/8 Tiger 1 in the future.

This young man was dragged into the hobby (not really), as an avid modeller himself, he has constructed and exhibited over the years his marvellous Star Wars collection, helicopters and now tanks with the co-owning of a Abrams M1A1.

Max Zimmermann

I originally started in the Turrethead (R/C Tanks) quite a few years ago with the buying of an old 1/16 scale Tamiya West German Leopard 1, with which I transformed into a model of an Australian AS1 gun tank. Over the last few years my collection has increased to include Two Tigers, a SDKFZ 251/9, a King Tiger, a Leopard 2A6(soon to be painted as Australian) and a few others. There is also a 1/16 scale Famo under construction.

SDKFZ 251/9 Built using 1/25 Tamiya Panther chassis suitably shortened with new upper body. Needing a final paint job.	Tiger 1 (Late Model) A suitably rebuilt Tamiya model with new metal wheels courtesy of a member of SEAD (thanks Eric). Needing a final paint job.	Tiger 1 (Early Type) Actually a static model without a motor as I have a 1/16 scale Famo on the go to drag it around with.	Australian Leopard AS1 Built from Tamiya West German Leopard 1	SDKFZ 9 A model that I am building. This one is owned by Torsten.

Most of these models are converted from readily available kits.
